Packers promote Crane as PR coordinator
The Green Bay Packers have promoted PR intern Rob Crane as PR coordinator. Crane will serve as the team's primary writer of all football releases in his new position. He will also coordinate player interviews and assist media relations efforts. Having a bachelor's degree in communications, Crane, 23, held the post of a student assistant in the school's sports information department from 2003-2006. As student assistant he served as sports information director for three varsity programs and assisted media relations for 31 sports. Crane has completed an internship with the NBA's Entertainment and Player Marketing Division.
