If you show up in shabby clothes then you are making the impression that you are sloppy and careless and they may think that is how your work ethic is. You want to dress the part of the job. Be neat and professional.
3. Do not treat your possible employer like you are lifelong friends. You need to be courteous and professional and let him or her know that you are willing to do what it takes to get the job.
4. Show that you have confidence in yourself and your abilities. Employers like a person who is eager to learn and confident in what they know.
5. You can go directly to local places that handle PR jobs for various companies. Even if they are not hiring right now, you can make a good impression on them and leave your resume so that they can call you when a position becomes available. You can also let them know what positions that you are interested in. If you get your foot in the door, you can always work your way up in the company.
6. Try to get an internship at a PR company. You can show your assets while interning and then have a better chance of getting offered a permanent position once it becomes available.

Be sure that you complete all of your own work and then make it a point to be available to offer a lending hand when you can. This will show the employer that you are a good match for the position you want. You want to make yourself a valuable asset to the company and let them know that you have the company’s best interests at heart.
