Description
The Senior Professional, Associate Communications plays a key role coordinating the content strategy for all internal communications channels, identifying new ways to improve efficiency of content development, and collaborating across the corporate communications department and the business segments. The role is responsible for supporting associate communications, with particular focus on digital platforms and video storytelling.
Responsibilities
Supports day-to-day management of the internal communications content strategy
Generates creative, digitally-centered content that reinforces Humana's brand and customer-centric approach
Partner with other teams, including HR and IT, to champion new platforms and techniques in communicating
Work closely with the Corporate Narrative & Storytelling Lead on content sharing
Leverage data and analytics to increase views and engagement
Study workplace environments to plan for current and future content sharing capabilities
Create clear criteria and processes for digital publishing in our internal spaces
Partner with cross-functional business partners on associate communications strategy and content criteria, seeking ways to unify initiatives and messaging
Serve as co-administrator for all major internal communications channels
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations or related field
5 years of employee communications or public relations experience with proven expertise in developing communications strategies that drive results
Passion for emerging technology and enthusiasm for engaging, interactive communications
History of video storytelling independently or with contracted service providers
Adept at data and analytics to drive content and channel decisions
Experienced in working with other teams of creative thinkers, digital marketers and editors
Maintain an understanding of emerging digital trends
Demonstrated ability to independently plan and implement multimedia projects
Ability to work under tight deadlines, multitask and deliver quality work under pressure
Exceptional communications skills and deep experience as a content creator
Proactive, flexible and always seeking improvement and positive change
Ability to use discretion and possess exceptional judgement

Must have accessibility to high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (satellite internet service is NOT allowed for this role); and a minimum internet connection speed of 10M x 1M
