Job Description

Lookout is looking for a college student interested in gaining experience working on a fast-paced marketing team. This person will be working closely with the communications team members on social media, public relations, content development and internal communications.

This is a paid internship with a commitment of at least one month. We’re looking for someone who is currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with public relations teams to keep track of media coverage

Help update the website with timely news articles

Assist in developing creative social media strategies and posts

Actively monitor social channel to insert Lookout into relevant conversations

Support internal communications to employees about media coverage and inspire them to post Lookout content on social media

Assist in editing and writing marketing content

Requirements:

Pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, creative writing or journalism

Experienced in running social media for a school club or an organization

Concise, engaging and creative writer

Knowledgeable about LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram

Familiar with public relations or journalism best practices (e.g., AP Style)

Bonus points:

Ability to create multimedia assets, such as audio, video and graphics

Experienced in working with content management systems

Interested in the cybersecurity industry
