POSITION SUMMARY:As a Sr. Business Development and Investor Relations Analyst, this role will support both the Corporate Strategy / Business Development team and Investor Relations team in research, presentation and investor targeting projects, as well as financial, data and peer analyses.  This individual will play a critical role in PVH’s corporate strategy and business development efforts by supporting the teams that develop strategic plans, evaluate new opportunities and drive operational efficiencies.  The teams work with senior management and across functions and brands.Responsibilities will include helping to conduct investor-focused analyses, developing investor messaging and supporting investor events.  In addition, responsibilities will include analyzing financial statements, developing financial models and researching sector trends and companies for business development and corporate strategy initiatives. This role will work closely with the IR + CS/BD teams to support a robust investor relations strategy in fostering strong external relationships with the investment community and successfully communicating the PVH Corp financial and strategic objectives.  The position will support two fast-paced teams, where multi-tasking, attention to detail and managing a number of discrete tasks are critical to success.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:Analyze business data sets or financial statements and build financial models for business development and corporate strategy initiativesAnalyze and summarize earnings and news releases from PVH’s peersPrepare written materials and presentations as neededResearch and monitor industry trends and M&A activityCo Support with investor targeting projectsCo support in all facets of corporate strategy and planning, special strategic projects and business development activities.Use experience and judgement in helping to support the department with business strategy and discussion as well as leaning into the conversation surrounding recommendation on transaction decision and terms. Support presentations and deck building for BOD and Sr. Management / internal team for strategic direction / LT plans strengths, weakness/opportunities and threats of transactions.Analyzing market activity to support clients' investor relations initiativesAbility to aggregate, synthesize, and articulate these findings fluently (written/verbally) to our corporate clientsSupport an in-depth understanding of our client's industry and business prospects across several industry sectorsQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:Experience:                         Previous business / finance experience3 – 5 years in investment banking or equity researchEducation:               Bachelor’s degree, ideally in business or financeSkills:Strong understanding of operational, accounting, tax, legal, financing and human resource implications of a potential transactionHighly organized and thoughtful with exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills (English)Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel); knowledge of FactSet a plusHigh attention to detail to create executive level materialsGood understanding of financial statementsComfortable working within a team settingProactive, positive and “can do” attitudeProven record of leadership in a work setting and/or through extracurricular activitiesDependable and responsibleSense of curiosity and desire to learn about the businessPassion for the fashion industry or branded consumer goods industries PVH Corp. or its subsidiary (\PVH\) is an equal opportunity employer and considers all applicants for employment on the basis of their individual capabilities and qualifications, consistent with applicable law and without regard to race, color, sex, gender identity or expression, age, religion, creed, national origin, citizenship status, sexual orientation, genetic information, physical or mental disability, military status or any other characteristic protected under federal, state or local law.
