Position Description

The Sustainable Business & Innovation (SB&I) team is the department of transformation at PVH. Our SB&I team has a common vision – to ignite and accelerate transformation at PVH, to enable a business that can lead a new, clean and just future in fashion. The Communications Senior Manager will sit under Sustainable Business Strategy team and will partner with the global SB&I and global Communications teams to develop and execute proactive communication strategy for Tommy Hilfiger’s sustainability priorities and in support of our vision to create fashion that Wastes Nothing and Welcomes All.
 

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of integrated, global communications strategies for key SB&I priorities, with focus on:
  • Sustainability
  • Sustainable Product Innovation
  • I&D Circular Business Models
  • Sustainability Strategy
•  Lead SB&I communications for the following channels/audiences:
  • Internal: Associate
  • External: Corporate & Customer & Country engagements

• Support SB&I communications for the following channels/audiences:
  • External: Consumer Marketing
     
• Collaborate with TH Global Communications, PVH Communications and PVH CR Communications and SB&I subject matter experts to find opportunities to proactively communicate on sustainability priorities.
• Reach and influence target audiences with messaging, creative storytelling, channel strategies and content plans, partnering closely with the Brand Marketing, Consumer Journey, Social and Influencer teams.
• Oversee development of materials designed to tell the sustainability story across key initiatives, priorities, issues and announcements.
• May include narratives, stakeholder messages and correspondence, talking points, web and social copy, assets for owned channels, speeches, etc.
• Develop and coordinate the evaluation of communications critical metrics for key impact and sustainability initiatives in partnership with the broader global communications team.
• Regularly evaluate communications effectiveness and implement new approaches and strategies to improve engagement.
• Share communications best practices with the team at large and push for fresh, innovative communications strategies and tactics.
• Partner with Global Communications team to execute proactive executive positioning on behalf of EVP SB&I and when needed, the CMO, CBO and CEO. This includes media and speaking engagements and owned content.
• Identify and execute innovative approaches that could include the initial/expanded use of innovative and modern communications tactics to drive heightened engagement with target audiences.
• Manage cross-functional partners to lead/coordinate inbound requests for sustainability communications.
• In partnership with PVH CR, develop and execute strategies to secure partner and customer support for and engagement in our sustainability aspirations in partnership with communications, marketing, and operations teams.
• Establish and rollout SB&I training protocol for all associates, retail associates, partners and customers.
• Oversee development and execution of SB&I related internal associate programs and activations, including events like MIP Week, AMA sessions, etc
   

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Communications, Journalism or a relevant field
• 7+ years of work experience
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Passion for communicating on a wide variety of stories and topics
• Resourceful and unafraid to create new connections
• Agile, resilient and able to “bend and flex” with new directions
• Pro-active and responsive
• Affinity with sustainability, strategy and innovation
• Exceptional communicator who understands how to bring together and manage numerous stakeholders
• Skilled in cross-functional working
• Dedicated people manager and team player
