Provides first line support for the residents in order to fulfill the mission of GME, and serves as a liaison between residents, faculty, program leadership, GME operational leaders, off-site directors and coordinators, and external agencies. Coordinates daily administration of the residency training programs by applying common program requirements, accreditation standards, and following VM policy. Works closely with GME and program leadership to maintain the educational goals and objectives of the program.

Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent; degree in Communication, Healthcare or Business is preferred.
Excellent computer skills; strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
The ability to function independently, use discretion and attention to details.
Work well under pressure, make quick decisions and meet deadlines as well as an in-depth knowledge of the Graduate Medical Education academic yearly cycle.Prior experience in Human Resources or Adult Education/Academics is also preferred.
