Under the direction of the Global VP of Brand & Digital Marketing, you will be responsible for updating and maintaining a comprehensive and coordinated brand operations program focused on ensuring GE Healthcare and its partners adhere to brand standards and governance guidelines.
You will work closely across a broad array of GE Healthcare partners and stakeholders, and in collaboration with GE Corporate’s master brand team, to:
Ensure all internal and external communications, marketing programs, and company branded assets meet and adhere to brand criteria
Guide the organization with clearly documented governance processes and confidently recommend changes to meet brand governance standards if criteria is not met
Monitor, review and respond to governance related requests
Manage the onboarding of new enterprise brand resources and decommissioning of retired resources
Educate and inform internal stakeholders, agencies, and external partners (when necessary) through standards and ongoing communications
Produce and maintain brand on-demand/DIY governance resources, e.g. guidebooks, naming guide, FAQs, portal, training, etc to drive adherence and meet standards effectively
Partner with client teams to standardize brand experiences and produce brand templates across enterprise experiences as required (e.g. events, campaigns, etc)
Build & manage brand governance reporting tools, e.g. score cards, dashboards/reports to monitor and track brand governance progress across the enterprise
Develop working relationships with and act as a trusted advisor to key internal stakeholders (creative, partners, strategic and regional business unit marketing leads, communications leads, employer brand, etc.) and agency/external partners on brand compliance
Partner with, and stay closely aligned to, the GE Corporate master brand team
Participate in the assessment, development, and management of current and future needs regarding the evolution of brand identity for GE Healthcare post spin-off (2023 )
Support brand events, as required
Requirements:
At least 10 years of brand governance or brand management experience at a Fortune 500
A proven track record of building and managing a successful brand governance program
Highly skilled, organized, and detail-oriented problem-solver with a passion for brand
Expert in brand and its role in the organization
Knowledge of identity standards and guidelines
Understanding where flexibility is called for versus rigid standards
Strong presentation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels in the organization
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; extremely attentive to deadlines and processes and strives to drive business results
Agile, quick-thinking multi-tasker who’s able to pivot quickly between tasks
Open-minded quick learner who’s able to adapt to rapidly shifting expectations and stakeholder goals
A “one team” attitude who’s not afraid to jump in and tackle a new assignment, no matter how challenging or unfamiliar
Exceptional organizational, communication, and influencing skills; able to lead within, push back when necessary, and navigate large, highly matrixed organizations
Leader and a do-er; highly motivated self-starter who learns fast and can deliver with minimal supervision; demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively
Team player that is reliable, flexible, helpful and works well in a collaborative environment
Client-centric and service-oriented positive attitude
Ability to operate under pressure, within tight deadlines and in a dynamic environment
A resilient change agent with a desire to help evolve and shape one of the world’s leading brands
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, journalism or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
Graduate degree in advertising, communications or law
Additional brand management/strategy certifications
Experience working within a master brand strategy
Experience working on a rebrand
