The Team
The EMEA+ Brand Marketing team is responsible for planning, driving & managing all integrated campaigns for Calvin Klein divisions, from calendar, brief, to go-to-market/B2B sell-in, to the production and delivery of assets. They need to ensure commercial and brand campaigns are delivered according to plan and coordinate across all stakeholders to ensure successful delivery. It's scope includes setting strategies, and giving direction and servicing the business of its ‘clients’: Product teams, Countries, Departments, Licensing Partners and Senior Management. It is the point of liaison between client needs, the brand and the final consumer.

The team is based at our Amsterdam headquarter and has 3 key objectives:

1.              Ensure consumer centricity in marketing strategy and activities

2.              Drive traffic and sales

3.              Innovate to win
 

The Position
The Sr. Marketing Manager is responsible for making the Calvin Klein brand stand out in the fashion industry and beyond. The goal is twofold: help bring our brand image to the next level, while providing strong commercial support to the business.

They will be responsible for the development and implementation of dedicated marketing communication, digital content and product support programs for all Calvin Klein Divisions/Business Units.  In this role, the Senior Marketing Manager will collaborate with different teams in the Marketing Department in order to build well-rounded programs that cover all consumer touch-points.

This position reports into the Director of Marketing and manages 2 small teams- brand marketing and digital marketing. Coaching and growing the direct reports are part of the main objectives.

Finally, the position will act in a leading, consulting and servicing role towards the VPs of the product divisions, global teams and digital teams. Strong communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop divisional EU marketing strategy and marketing calendar and programs in-line with the business priorities, brand positioning and KPI framework.

  • Build the EU digital marketing strategy in collaboration with EU Media, CRM and Ecommerce teams with focus on contributing to Ecommerce business goals and advancing the brand experience on ck.com.

  • Represent EU marketing towards global marketing organization: briefing EU requirements and ensuring global strategies and content can support EU business priorities. Work with the specialist channel teams to ensure a consistent, strategic approach to the roll-out of global assets in Europe.

  • Lead project teams to build and implement marketing campaigns and seasonal digital content. Ensure campaign briefs are informed by consumer insights, previous campaign analyses, external data and business direction.  Structure the teams and optimize processes.

  • Build go-to-market strategies reacting to and pre-empting internal and external business trends. Lead team responsible for the execution of go-to-market content to support the product divisions with development and distribution of selling material.

  • Use insights and data to guide day to day decision making and inform business processes, marketing objectives, content briefs and calendars. Guide specialist teams to gather and analyze data in order to find process optimizations and inform briefs

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum of 7 years of working experience in fashion and in a similar role

  • University or similar degree in marketing or communications

  • Excellent Project management and organization skills

  • Understanding of content production especially for digital channels (.com, CRM, paid media)

  • Collaborative; able to liaise closely across different levels of the organization

  • Strong communication skills

  • Team player

  • Responsive and service minded

  • Deadline and quality focused

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken form

  • Flexible

  • Pro-active and hands-on

  • Open minded and resourceful

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and Keynote
