GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the Manager, communications and public relations, the communications coordinator has the duty to write and revise texts, coordinate media relations operations, as well as moderate and monitor the social media accounts for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Quebec's brands, mainly for specialty television channels.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Writing, adapting and revising various texts *Preparing newsletters *Responding to various requests from journalists (sending photos, etc.) *Verifying and updating show texts in the programming software (IBMS) *Coordinating media events *Responding to messages from viewers (Facebook and Instagram posts) within 24 hours *Producing a monitoring report for Twitter *Taking on other duties as assigned to support the communications team
KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:
*University degree in communication, copywriting or journalism *Minimum 3 years of experience in a position involving similar or related tasks *Fluency in French (spoken and written) *Good knowledge of English *Ability to use Microsoft Office software *Good knowledge of social media *Strong interest in the television field *Excellent capacity to handle stress and manage priorities *Strong communication skills and ability to maintain good professional relationships *Flexible, dynamic self-starter
Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
