As an intern on the University Recruiting team you will be responsible for managing logistics for the Cirrus Logic Intern Experience, campus engagement events, communicating with the incoming intern class, and content planning for the University Relations team.
Responsibilities
Plan, facilitate and execute intern events and programming including vendor management, budget planning, and onsite support.
Support intern hiring through candidate communications, interview scheduling, etc.
Maintain relations with key university partners by supporting onsite hiring and campus engagement events
Communicate and share information with incoming interns through monthly newsletters
Post internships and entry-level roles via electronic job boards at target campuses
Tracking work authorization expiration dates for international students
Required Skills and Qualifications
Working towards a bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications, business, HR, or similar
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Well-organized and self-starting, and have an excellent work ethic, attention to detail, and a learning mentality
Have professional or personal experience working in a event planning and customer-focused environment
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Previous work experience or internships in a related field is a plus
This position is located in Austin, TX
Cirrus Logic follows a 2 day in-office work schedule but interns should expect to be in the office more often, up to 5 days per week, based on business needs and team preference. Interns must be based within commutable distance of the work location listed on the job posting, or willing to relocate prior to beginning their internship with Cirrus Logic.
