As a part of Logitech’s Global Communications team, this intern will support external PR programs and employee engagement and communications programs across the Personal Workplace Solutions, Logitech G, B2B, Education and Music categories. In this role you will:Share positive PR coverage and social media campaigns across the companyManage the product reviews process, including maintaining product inventory, distributing review samples and working closely with U.S. consumer PR agency on incoming media requests and following up with select journalists and influencersCoordinate logistics for U.S. press / influencer and consumer eventsBuild and distribute press kits and maintain materials and assets on the U.S. online press room, news.logitech.com.Review and proof communications to ensure accurate messagingHelp manage day-to-day employee communication requests, including drafting, editing and publishing messages to global employees. Compile and distribute weekly U.S. and Global newsletters, sharing pertinent information and activities to employees worldwideConduct research on new communications tools; identify needs and suggest solutionsKey Qualifications:For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:Strong writing and editing skillsKnowledge/understanding of basic PR and communication principlesKnowledge of social media platforms (such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and YouTube) to drive customer engagementFlexibility and ability to manage competing prioritiesEnthusiastic, can-do attitude; a problem solver; able to work autonomously and as part of a larger team Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships across the organizationHandles confidential information discreetlyBasic computer skills (Gmail, Google Docs, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)In addition, preferable skills that are not mandatory but could be helpful include:Web publishing, blogging or online content experienceExperience working with graphics software (e.g., Photoshop)Education:Recent Graduate or students pursuing degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, and/or other related communication fieldAcross Logitech we empower collaboration and foster play.
