Job Description:

Support and advance the work of the College Advancement division through the development and execution of multi-faceted marketing and communications efforts including digital engagement. Working in collaboration with colleagues in advancement and communications, along with other campus partners, will develop, plan, prioritize and implement strategies designed to increase engagement and promote donations through solicitation and stewardship.

Essential Functions:

Lead creative strategy and services for advancement communications. Work closely with the advancement directors and in partnership with College communications to determine communications needs and recommend how best to meet them; develop, write, manage, produce, edit and proofread content including brochures, reports, articles, scripts, invitations, videos, solicitations, newsletters, web, social media, etc. to meet defined goals.

Oversee the production -- from concept to completion -- of all department communications and collateral; provide management of the day-to-day operations, assignments, and deadlines for all communications content produced by internal and external staff, consultants, vendors and others.

Develop themes, messages, and materials (print and digital) for key areas in the division, such as Major Gifts, Planned Giving, Annual Giving, Alumni Relations, and Donor Relations; ensure that all communication is tailored to target audiences and is consistent with college strategies, messaging and design.

Collaborate with College Communications to ensure institutional message consistency and appropriate utilization of campus resources and media channels.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree is required

Minimum 7 years Advancement Communications experience required; higher ed advancement communications experience preferred.

Intermediate level of experience using Google Suite and Microsoft Office is required.

The ability and willingness to provide excellent service and to work in a collegial manner with students, faculty and staff, and other constituencies is essential.

Additional Information:
