KeyBank is looking for an experienced Web Content Manager for portions of Key.com. Reporting to the VP of Digital Marketing, this role will join an existing team of content managers and editors who focus on consumer-facing content on our website. The Web Content Manager is responsible for leading and managing the creation and implementation of content on our website. This role will collaborate with marketing strategists, stakeholders, designers, writers, external agencies, product managers, and technology partners to create and execute an exceptional online experience. Excellent understanding of web content management fundamentals, usability and web analytics is necessary.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Partnership
Act as a consultant and leader, providing direction on best practices for online experience solutions to clients and partners based on their online needs
Enhance Key.com user experience - work closely with web content specialists (site editors) and partners to implement best in class solutions, summarize and communicate findings and recommendations
Proactively meet with partners to advise, schedule, manage and implement projects and content updates for Key.com. Use web content management system (SDL Tridion and Adobe Experience Manager) to make site updates
Document requirements and create an outline of content needed on the page to accomplish goals
Develop web page content, navigation, functionality, look and feel that supports partners' business objectives while maintaining site and WC3 standards
Partner with technology, product managers, compliance, designers, external agencies, and vendors
Communications
Proactively conduct and communicate industry research in order to stay current on best practices in digital marketing and web user experience, competitor user interface designs, and emerging technologies
Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail with copy proofing and editing
Reporting & Analysis
Create measurement plans prior to launch of new content, documenting analytics requirements and KPIs
Measure success of projects
Partner with web analytics team to ensure standard reporting is used and interpretation is consistent
General
Proactively drive issues / defects to resolution
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree, ideally in marketing or communications
Minimum 4 years previous work experience in web content management
Experience with WorkFront or other similar project management tools
Excellent interpersonal skills, relationship management skills, problem-solving and decision-making skills
Proven ability to provide insights and recommendations to partners and stakeholders on the best client-centric approach to meet business goals
Knowledge of web content management systems, specifically component-based systems. SDL Tridion and Adobe Experience Manager experience is preferred
Strong understanding of web marketing concepts including search engine marketing, search engine optimization, knowledge of industry online best practices and web standards
Proven ability to recognize and edit effective web content to create compelling online experiences
Thrives in a creative, fast-paced environment
Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to effectively manage and execute numerous projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
Ability to take initiative, negotiate effectively and build productive relationships with business partners
Effective verbal and written communicator, able to communicate with a variety of audiences and management levels, and translate business requirements into technical requirements
Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Effective analytical techniques
Experience working in Agile, with tools like Jira and Confluence
Experience in a compliance/regulated industry (financial services, healthcare)
